🏀 FIBA Asia Cup 2017 .

The FIBA Asia Cup 2017 will be held at the Nouhad Nawfal Sports Complex in Lebanon from August 8 to August 20. This will be the 29th edition of the tournament dubbed before as FIBA Asia Championship.

With the new format and inclusion of teams from Oceania (Australia and New Zealand), the tournament will be a qualification to determine the composition of teams for FIBA World Cup 2019 in China. The top 5 teams will represent FIBA Asia-Oceania.

The Philippines will represent Southeast Asia at this tournament after capturing the lone ticket at the 2017 SEABA tournament held in Manila last May.
