Helsinki 1952 marked Vietnam's Olympic debut. Over 14 editions of the Games, this Southeast Asian country has won two silvers: one in taekwondo, by Tran Hieu Ngan, at Sydney 2000; and the other in weightlifting, by Hoang Anh Tuan, at Beijing 2008.
