I. About 29th Southeast Asian Games
The 29th Southeast Asian Games is to be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from 19th - 30th August 2017 at the Bukit Jalil National Stadium located in the capital city. This is the sixth time Malaysia will host the biennial sporting event for athletes from all over Southeast Asia (SEA). Malaysia hosted in 1965, 1971, 1977, 1989 and 2001 where Malaysia claimed the overall championship.  
There were less than 5,000 athletes from 11 participating countries that competed in this "Olympics of Southeast Asia" and battling in 405 events in 38 sports.
