#SEAGames2021 News 052 | Singapore Introduces Some New Faces for SEA Games Diving

 

 
Singapore Swimming Association introduces on their official Facebook page the diving team who will compete in the 31st Southeast Asian Games in Hanoi, Vietnam.

The eight (8) divers consisted of three (3) males and five (5) women divers will banner the flag of Singapore in the regional meet.

Max Lee, Jonathan Chan and Avvir Tham will see action in the men's events while Ong Sze En, Ong Rei En, Mira Dewan, Fong Kay Yian and Ashley Tan will compete in the women's events.
 
The team is guided by head coach Lipeng with coach Tu Yun and Team Manager Kristel Wang.

The diving competition will start on May 8 until May 11 prior to the formal and official opening ceremony of the biennial meet. 

The four-day diving competition features eight (8) events including four (4) men’s events and four (4) women’s events. The venue of the diving competition is at the Mỹ Đình Aquatics Center in Hanoi, Vietnam.
 

At the 2019 SEA Games in the Philippines, Singapore managed to bagged 1 silver  courtesy of Fong Kay Yian and Ashlee Tan Yi Xuan in the women's synchronized 3-meter springboard and two bronze medals in the men's events won by Timothy Lee Han Kuan and Mark Lee Han Ming.
