Volleyball will be one of the team sports to watch out for as eight teams had submitted their entry in the women's event while ten nations submitted their entry for the men's division.
Aside from 2017 SEA Games defending champion Thailand and host Philippines, silver and bronze medalists Indonesia and Vietnam will be competing in the women's division.
Also submitting their entry for the women's division are Malaysia, Singapore, Myanmar and surprisingly Timor Leste.
For the men's event, the only country who did not submit an entry is Brunei Daraussalam.
