The Asian Youth & Junior Weightlifting Championships 2018 was held at the Yoshlik sport complex in Urgench, Uzekistan from April 20 to 30.The competition was also a qualifying event for the upcoming 2018 Youth Olympic Games to be held in Buenos Aires, Argentina.Southeast Asian teams who competed at this tournament were Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam.
Vietnam is the biggest winner among the Southeast Asian teams who collected 18 gold medals in both youth and junior categories.
