Vietnam is hosting the 2017 Asian Men’s Club Volleyball Championship with thirteen (13) competing teams. Vietnam is grouped in Pool A along with Iraq and Sri Lanka.
Aside from Vietnam, another Southeast Asian team battling in Pool D is Thailand. Represented by Thai Air Force, the team is up against team clubs from Japan, China and Maldives.
The tournament will run from June 28 until July 6.

Thailand finished 9th place overall while team Vietnam placed 8th overall of this competition. Iran takes the title beating Japan in the finals. Qatar settled for bronze medal.
