The Sports Climbing Asian Championships 2018 was held at Kurayoshi, Japan from November 7 to 11.
Sari Agustina of Indonesia won the women's speed title after beating her Chinese rival in the finals.
Aries Susanti Rahayu, also from Indonesia, placed third after fellow Iqomah fell during the small final of the women's speed category.
In Men's speed event, it was all-Indonesia semi finals.
Alfian Muhammad ruled the event after defeating Sabri Sabri in 5.833 seconds while Sabri got 5.836 seconds to place second. Aspar Jaelolo and Veddriq Leonardo placed third and fourth respectively.
Aside from Indonesia, other Southeast Asian countries who took part of the competition were Cambodia, Philippines, Singapore and Thailand.
